Videos

In 2022 LHPC used (with permission) a portion of Jeff Siegler's 2019 blog titled, Save Our Buildings, Save Ourselves to produce this video.  It is narrated by Silas Young while Amelia Kibbie, LHPC commissioner, produced the accompanying slideshow.

In celebration of National Historic Preservation Month during May 2020, we are pleased to share a new video in our "Opening Doors to Lisbon History" series. This video, narrated by Lisbon Librarian Amy White, was produced by her son Jefferson White and features music by Lisbon native Blake Shaw. The library was built in 1875 and is the oldest extant building in the Lisbon Main Street Historic District, designated to the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.

The following videos are part of the "Opening Doors to Lisbon History" series.  The videos are produced by high school students enrolled in the Lisbon INC class in collaboration with our historic preservation commission. Continue to check back as more videos will be added.

Kudos to the students for a job well done!
